You MUST Analyze

Don't automatically think anything is safe.  Don't blindly trust.  Accept the objective reality that people you are tempted to trust can be, and often are, ignorant, misguided, incompetent, lazy, negligent, irrational, biased, arrogant, or corrupt.  Especially the government.

Just because something is available in the marketplace, doesn’t mean it’s safe.
Just because the label makes a statement, doesn't mean it's meaningful.
Just because something is approved by a governent agency (FDA, USDA, CDC, etc.), doesn’t mean it’s safe or effective.
Just because something doesn’t noticeably negatively affect you in the short term, doesn’t mean it’s safe.
Just because something is common or popular, doesn’t mean it's normal or correct.
Just because a doctor, expert, or advisor is credentialed, credible, experienced, well-intentioned, or friendly, doesn't mean they are reliable.

If you care about safety, effectiveness, truth, and BETTER RESULTS, you have to do the analysis to check for evidence, logic, and objectivity.  Nobody cares more about your well-being than you.  Sift through everything, and accept what is sound and reject what is unsound, whatever the source, because no person or field has a monopoly on truth (other than God).  Always keep an open mind and change your mind when better information compels it.  DON'T BE A SHEEP.
